Briar came to Yoga through a dance and performance background with a desire to stay fit and gain more peace of mind. As an actor and singer, she brings a creative approach to her teaching and workshop environments so that students of all levels can benefit from the mind/body inspired teachings of Yoga.

About Briar
Briar Boake began her professional performing career as a singer and dancer in the “Solid Gold Revue” featuring a live 10 piece band at Canada’s Wonderland. Over the years, she continued singing in clubs, on cruises and as part of many ensembles. She has also worked as an actor in T.V., commercials, film and musical theatre.
Today, Briar often brings music to the senior population, playing with other musicians or as an engaging and vibrant solo act.
